Intellectual Property & DMCA Policy
Calecta respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. This page explains how to report copyright or trademark concerns, how we handle them, and what rights you have if your content is removed.
Our content
The Calecta platform — including the design system, software, the curated iconic streets, the storefront illustrations we commission, and the original editorial content — is owned by Calecta, LLC or licensed to us.
Brand names, logos, and trademarks
Calecta displays brand names, logos, and storefront representations of third-party vendors as part of an editorial catalog. All third-party trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here for nominative identification and editorial reference under the fair-use doctrine and applicable trademark law. Calecta does not claim any rights in these marks and does not imply endorsement by, affiliation with, or sponsorship from any brand listed.
If you are a brand-rights holder and wish to (a) update how your brand is represented on Calecta, (b) request removal of your brand from our catalog, or (c) opt out of affiliate-network routing for your domain, email admin@calecta.app with the subject line “Brand request: [your brand name].” We respond within 10 business days.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on Calecta infringes your copyright, send a notice to our Designated Agent. To be effective under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works at a single site are covered, a representative list).
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to let us locate it (a URL on https://calecta.app is best).
- Your contact information: address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Designated Agent
Send DMCA notices to:
Calecta, LLC, DMCA Designated Agent
Email: admin@calecta.app
Mail: Calecta, LLC, 5549 Amber Circle, Calabasas, CA 91302
Note: only DMCA-related notices should be sent to the Designated Agent. Other questions go to admin@calecta.app.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, email, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you live (or, if outside the US, in the jurisdiction where Calecta, LLC is located), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, Calecta, LLC will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
False claims
Under 17 USC §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. Don't send a takedown notice on content you don't actually own the rights to.
